Silent
We hope for help
That which we fear the shame
Of asking for,
Of being vulnerable
When that is all
We can be

Say
The only thing
You can say
And perhaps
find comfort
In unexpected responses
That may bring
miraculous gifts

Because of Thinking

I think of living
Of feeling
Of breathing

I think of time
Of past and future
Of present

I think of stopping
of going

I think of maybes
of hope

I think of ups
Of downs

I think of you
Of me

And I think

I think about thinking
I think and therefore know
I am
still

And I am thankful

For all the things of which I think
Because of them
I am

She had forgotten

herself time and time again.

Her visage is new.
