Kintsugi

You,
broken beautiful,
precious porcelain,
Held together by gold,

Kintsugi,

Your cracks
–where the light shines through,
So that you glow,
And your halo illuminates
those who have the gift of your presence,

I had that gift
And it was,

And it is

priceless

Embodiment

In the next plane they may be together,

When things are vastly different,

When bodies have no boundaries,

And they exist as they have always suspected they should,

Outside of time and space,

They are the embodiment of pure love.

Winded

There will be moments
That are hard to handle, that take the breath too soon
And leave us weak, parched, winded,
These moments are the trial steps,
Not the end we are seeking
