Full Moon Thoughts
A white halo rests over ground,
Ice chills the core,
And the glow of moonlight illuminates
This early night,
I should beckon my lids to close,
But even when they do,
I’ll remain awake,
Lost in these full moon thoughts of you
Visible Star
Stars flood the sky with light,
Whether we see them individually or not,
The stars shine,
The shooting stars blaze across the sky,
They dazzle our heart and mind,
Even when not visible to the eye
Rays
Dreamer, you will float
Tonight on weightless clouds,
Between stars that spread their rays like fingers reaching,
Outstretched to touch, to warm
The beloved cool night air
On an Evening Canvas
The night encroaches,
The sun is taking its leave earlier,
And earlier,
The night light gems
That decorate the evening canvas
Come into sight,
And I see you again,
I am reminded,
You are still there,
Always.
