Outside

10.26.18

The moon full
And I felt it full,
From the inside;
I was prepared
And knew to watch
Like astronomers,
Astrologers,
And our ancestors,
In infancy
I am learning to read
The signs,
and connecting
body, spirit, mind,
to the nature
that has been beckoning me
from every angle
from within,
and
Outside.

Lunar Control

Last night,
The moon,
Fully naked,
In all its glory,
Stunned my sight

As I drove a winding country road
Turning
‘Round a bend,
abruptly,
there it was

Appearing,
As if a coy child,
Awaiting
To
Surprise!

I do not wonder,
Why we came to worship dieties,
Of lunar control,
How else imaginable
could new minds
concieve
of such a spectacular image
Of heavenly beauty,
Of wonder,
Of the possible truths of its purpose
or origin,

I am humbled in my size
and finitude,
As its magnitism
Becons attention
From my gaze,
My mind,
And body.

The tides in me
Move in and out
At its command
From the other side of the globe,
You surely feel it too.

Nightfall

July 31, 2017
The ripening moon
Hangs above my window
And beckons me
To keep my eyelids raised
An hour longer
She had seduced me
This way before
With promises
In the midnight hour
But this is how
I lost touch
With reality
And the sun
Still, I wonder,
Does she tempt you too?
