God is a Woman

My mind is on overdrive,
But this isn’t insomnia,
I’ve found more of myself,
in the mystical,
in sage and clover,
my third eye is opened,
discovering the layers here, there, and in between,
a new world has been opened to me,
eclectic in my ways,
I find myself taking the long way,
Back to what I found as only a child,
Back to basics,
Where and when
God is a woman

Mystic Evolution

Awakening my soul,
From slumber I was unaware
It was sleeping,
Feeling the radiant power
Of thought turned into idea,
Transformed into action,
Cycled back again,
Layers pulled back,
Reveal parts of self I’ve yet to meet,
And as I come to know them,
Mystical mists sweep me to otherworlds,
Open hidden passageways,
And as I step through I am alone,
But supported,
I am evolving,
In faith and mind,
To be closer to the cosmos,
Both in and creating me,
And this is just the beginning.

New Skin

This is my new skin,
Brown,
It looks the same,
But upon closer inspection,
You will see
A glow,
A confident light,
Of something new,
Beneath,
Like a child’s smirk
Beholding a secret,
This secret is unfolding
Slowly,
Sensually,
Inch by inch, revealing
A person who wasn’t,
And was always there,
But never known,
Never seen

This skin is new,
It’s tight,
It’s the scent of a new born babe,
This is the babe
Of me
Being born,
Mentally, emotionally,
theologically,
Into the physical,
And this is just the beginning,
This labor is a process,
Unique in it’s course,
And from the womb of my mind I will grow,
To pass through and become
Who I am,
And who I am to be,
A spiritual vessel,
Clothed in
Skin.
