Miraculous – A Theology

This existence is one,
All is connected,
You, me, creatures, objects, great and small
The beginning and end,
Entwined with us all
Out of the nothing, the something formed,
With innate innocence,
A peaceful being of neutrality,
Uninfluenced by established humanity,
This is the beginning of each little galaxy,
Inside another,
The endless universe,
That composes all,
The value free existence
Neither good nor evil,
Just, just;
This is all,
But then enters complexity,
Of competing beings,
Vying for sustained existence,
In a space of resource finitude,
This is millions upon millions of life forms,
Organic material,
Forces of nature,
Air, water, fire, earth,
Coalescing upon and as a miraculous heavenly body,
In an endless sea of space,
Thus this is home,
We,
We are,
And we are
home,

Within

We don’t know ourselves,
Until we have to go looking
For something hidden,
As if it’s gone missing,
We dig through ancestry,
To try to construct,
By deconstructing identity,
We look up,
Hands clasped,
Always searching out,
When the answer,
Rests within.

Another Light: Prayer for the Wolf

I had never seen a wolf before,
At least not from behind a pane,
Until yesterday,
And in a fraction of a moment,
I saw it,
I saw you,
Wounded wolf,
with eye pendent
And you should not have moved,
But you did,
and the life in you
is what disturbed,
And I prayed for you,
For your pain to be ended,
For the bullet to come fast,
For you to find peace
in your next plane,
You are my sibling,
I saw it in you,
In your gaze
In your sentience,
Wolf, I cannot imagine your pain,
But I can imagine your life,
And I prayed you lived this one well,
May you find another light,
In another life
